In 2011, Kristy S. Gilbert founded Looseleaf Editorial & Production with one goal: to help authors and publishers get their books ready for readers. Along the way, Looseleaf has provided editing and design for fiction, nonfiction, and academic research.
Now we focus primarily on editing fiction (especially science fiction and fantasy) and designing both fiction and general-audience nonfiction books. Our clients include book, comics, and game publishers (including Penguin Young Readers, DC Comics, and Exploding Kittens); hybrid-publishing authors (including Brandon Sanderson, Charlie N. Holmberg, Dan Wells, and Brian McClellan); and fully self-published authors.
