David Seidman is a Los Angeles-area editor, journalist, and author. As a former Syndicate Editor for the L.A. Times, he discovered and developed the comic strips Dilbert and Foxtrot, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Mike Luckovic. The nearly 15,000 features he edited or managed for the L.A. Times include Ann Landers columns and B.C. comic strips as well as properties from Lucasfilm, Paramount and the estates of Bruce Lee and W.C. Fields.
David went on to co-found and serve as Publications Editor for Disney Comics, editing hundreds of projects and producing some of the best-selling comic books and limited series for the imprint. David’s decades of journalism, editing, and writing experience include the creation and/or editorial production of thousands of articles, publications and news stories for a wide range of outlets and clients including the L.A. Times, San Francisco Examiner, Investor’s Business Daily, Disney Corporate Communications, Warner Bros. Animation, and Disney Publishing. David currently teaches editing courses for UCLA Extension.
