Faralee Pozo believes that when an editor is doing her job, her work should be invisible, and also that the best editor-author relationships are created when the editor acts as an advocate for the story. When it comes to genre, her first love is YA and middle grade speculative, but she has also truly enjoyed working in other genres including sweet romance.
Education & Professional Highlights: In the years since receiving her BA in creative writing, Faralee has edited and formatted books and other content for clients all over the world and across a wide range of genres including horror, religion and spirituality, self-help, and fantasy. She also created and published the indie literary magazine The Weird and Whatnot for several years, and she continues to use the knowledge gained from that experience to help self-publishing authors on their path to publication.
Personality: In addition to her strange love of commas and ellipses, Faralee also loves playing and creating tabletop games with her family, and also occasionally bugging her children to read her original stories.
