Kaitlin Barwick is an editor, designer, reader, crafter, and unapologetic cat lover.
Education & Experience: Since graduating with a BA in English language and editing in 2016, Kaitlin has lent her talents to traditional publishing houses, hybrid publishers, and self-publishing authors alike, working with a wide variety of genres, though she has a special fondness for science fiction and adventure. Both of Kaitlin’s specialties focus on polishing manuscripts to be the best possible experience for the reader. For copyediting and proofreading, this means making sure that every hyphen and comma is perfectly placed and that every sentence lands as the author intends it to. For typesetting, this means using nearly a decade of InDesign expertise to craft a beautiful platform for the author’s voice, marrying spectacular design with reader accessibility.
Taste & Personality: Kaitlin delights in stories that celebrate people’s uniqueness, be it their background, their personality, or their way of living life. When she’s not working or reading, she’s probably playing cozy games way too competitively, painting TTRPG monster minis, or eating spicy food.
